Tips to Reduce Customer Frustration

Court Street will remain open to through traffic, however, traffic will be shifted to one side. This will undoubtably lead to some confused drivers and a customer base that may feel as if it’s just not worth the trip to Old Town. But we can help fix this!

  • Send frequent communications such as email or newsletters to your customer base letting them know the best routs to take and places to park so they can still frequent your place of business
  • Print small maps highlighting the best routes and parking solutions for your customers to take with them.
  • Ease customer frustration by acknowledging and then making light of the situation. A comical window sign or tee-shirts saying “What Construction?” can lighten the mood.
  • Is your business near Hamilton Street? Ken Eline from River City Tile has offered is business parking lot for employee parking that way more lot and street parking can be devoted to customer parking.

I was in Saginaw for 3 months and left at the end of August. My husband and I were wondering why it was taking so long to do the construction. We heard that the job was given to one company that was also doing another job in Bay City. Instead of spreading the wealth we now all have to suffer because of the lack of man power not used daily on this project. I’m losing businesses in my building because of this and also have noticed storm drain problems that I never had before! Someone should investigate what is really going on here! It’s really a pathetic attempt of how to get things done.
